2. Schema Ventures, based in San Francisco, invests in technology firms focused on supply chain, manufacturing, and software infrastructure.

3. Ramamurthy has also co-founded True & Co, a lingerie e-commerce startup, and worked as an entrepreneur-in-residence at Battery Ventures.

According to her LinkedIn and X posts, the fund would help early-stage startups launched by “exceptional outsider founders.” Ramamurthy has previously founded two businesses herself.

Schema Ventures will concentrate on the early phases of firms in industries such as industrial software, robotics, and intelligence for manufacturing, construction, and logistics, workflow intelligence, and developer tools.

Ramamurthy, who has managed product and engineering teams at Microsoft, Netflix, and Meta, says on this latest startup news that the fund intends to support founders who build on lived experience rather than “pedigree or proximity.”

In 2020, she started a Clubhouse program with her husband, Sriram Krishnan, a former Andreessen Horowitz general partner and current White House senior AI policy advisor. The Good Time Show featured real talks about startups, venture finance, and cryptocurrency, with high-profile guests including Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg.

The show then moved to YouTube and evolved into The Aarthi and Sriram Show, which signed a podcast partnership with iHeartMedia and had over one million downloads by early 2023.
