Roomstory.ai, an AI-powered interior search and shopping website, raised ₹3 crore ($360,000) in a pre-seed funding round led by New Delhi-based venture capital firm Rukam Sitara Fund, the firm said on Monday.
Aakash Anand, founder of personal care brand Bella Vita Organic, as well as startup incubator Wolfpack Labs, participated in the startup funding round.

On sharing this big news of securing funding, Ekatva Jain also shared the story behind the idea of this startup. He said, ” Roomstory.ai was born out of years of frustration. Clients would send us Pinterest screenshots and say, “I want this room.” But they had no way to bring it to life. Because the products weren’t available. The process was broken.
We had designed 100+ homes by then and knew this problem inside out.
So we decided to solve it! And here is the solution- Roomstory.AI.
Roomstory.ai, founded in 2024, bills itself as India’s first AI-powered shopping assistant for interiors. The funding will be used by the startup to expand its user base, launch its website and mobile applications, and improve its artificial intelligence skills. It also intends to foster a design-oriented digital community.
“Most interior sites make you choose between inspiration and shopping. “We eliminate that divide,” mentioned Ekatva Jain, Co-Founder and CEO. “Roomstory doesn’t just show you a beautiful room; it hands you the exact tools to recreate it, wherever you prefer to shop.”
