Microsoft did something out of the box and unveiled Build with copilot upgrades, new artificial intelligence agents, and many more interesting features. Yes, you read that right, it is back with exciting updates, integrating automatic tools into it to make your experience more seamless.
In the latest AI tech news, the greatest developer conference, Build 2025, was conducted on May 19, 2025. The event featured several improvements in artificial intelligence to expand the capabilities of various features, apps, and services. Artificial Intelligence and Windows 11 took center stage at the event, with tools and innovations that will benefit software developers, enterprises, web developers, and others.
During the event, the tech giant revealed new artificial intelligence agents to meet the diverse needs of consumers. For example, the business offers a GitHub Copilot coding agent for software engineers, new multi-agent orchestration in Copilot Studio for Microsoft 365 customers, an Azure and Windows Artificial Intelligence foundry, and much more. Discover the details of announcements that were made at Build 2025.
GitHub Copilot upgrades: The company is improving the way developers use GitHub Copilot. Previously, developers relied on an in-editor support to propose code completion options. Now, the new coding agent will serve as an AI assistant, writing code for the user. The artificial intelligence assistance will operate autonomously in the background to complete coding chores for the user.
Windows and Azure AI Foundry: In this latest tech AI news, Microsoft has introduced a new toolkit known as Windows AI Foundry, which provides artificial intelligence developers with tools and technology to develop Automatic apps for Windows. Users can easily “fine-tune and deploy” projects in the Foundry using pre-built or open-source AI models from Foundry Local. On the other hand, it has announced Azure Artificial Intelligence Foundry, a platform allowing cloud developers to access many of the automatic tools and models from partners. Users can access xAI’s Grok 3 and Grok 3 micro models, with 1900 other Artificial Intelligence models, through the foundry.
Open Agentic Web: Build 2025 launches NLWeb, which allows websites to collaborate similarly to AI agents. This will allow websites to provide a seamless interface in which users will be asked for the required information and the actions they wish to complete. The NLweb further supports Model Context Protocol (MCP), which makes “content easily discoverable and accessible to Artificial Intelligence agents.”
These are some of the important announcements from Build 2025 that focus on Artificial Intelligence agents to assist users in addressing issues more cohesively or in a standard manner.
Science may be one of artificial intelligence’s most vital applications, assisting humans in addressing some of its most serious concerns, such as medicine development and preservation. At Build, we’ll be introducing Microsoft Discovery. This extensible platform allows researchers to transform the entire discovery process with agentic automatic tools, assisting research and development departments across multiple industries in increasing the time to market for new products, growing and expanding the end-to-end discovery process for all scientists.
