What You’ll Do

• Report and write original stories on global and Indian startups, AI, venture capital, and emerging tech trends
• Cover breaking news with speed and accuracy
• Conduct interviews with founders, investors, and industry experts
• Pitch and develop long-form features, explainers, and opinion pieces
• Collaborate with editors and other writers to refine content and storytelling
• Attend virtual and physical tech/startup events to source leads and ideas

What We’re Looking For

• 2–5 years of experience in tech journalism or business reporting
• Strong news judgment and a nose for original, high-impact stories
• Passion for startups, venture capital, and emerging technologies
• Ability to explain complex topics clearly and compellingly
• Excellent writing, editing, and headline skills
• Self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Bonus Points For

• A strong network of startup founders, VCs, or tech insiders
• Experience with data-driven journalism or storytelling
• Knowledge of generative AI, deep tech, or fintech
• Prior work published in leading tech or business publications
