We’re looking for a Social Media Manager who can bring our stories to life across platforms, grow our audience, and help make The Techrising a leading voice in Indian tech media.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and grow our presence on X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
• Create engaging social-first content from our articles, interviews, and reports
• Write compelling copy, headlines, and captions tailored for each platform
• Work with writers and editors to amplify original reporting in real time
• Identify trends, memes, and formats that resonate with tech/startup audiences
• Monitor analytics, track KPIs, and optimize for growth and engagement
• Collaborate on newsletter promotion and community-building efforts

What We’re Looking For

• 2–4 years of experience managing social media for a media brand, startup, or digital platform
• Deep understanding of India’s startup, VC, and tech landscape
• Excellent writing and content packaging skills
• Creative instincts for digital storytelling, visual trends, and platform voice
• Familiarity with tools like Canva, Buffer/Later, and basic video editing
• Ability to move fast, experiment, and stay on top of breaking news and trends

Nice to Have

• Experience with newsletter growth or audience development
• A personal presence or following in the startup/tech space
• Interest in analytics, SEO, or creator collaborations
