According to the latest tech news, there is also a new Object Choose tool, which allows you to choose and alter specific areas of an image. It uses artificial intelligence to identify and separate components on the canvas, facilitating faster and more efficient editing.

Furthermore, a new Welcome Experience in Paint will walk users through the latest features, providing a useful introduction for both new and experienced users.

These Paint upgrades are only accessible on Copilot+ PCs, and using the sticker creator requires you to log in with a Microsoft account.

Snipping Tools Gets Improved

Snipping Tool is also upgrading its game. The main feature is Perfect Image, an AI tool that automatically modifies your selection area so that you get the perfect image without having to crop it afterwards. Simply press Print Screen or Open Snipping Tool, select the feature, and let AI handle the rest.

Another feature is the Color Picker, which allows you to select color codes (HEX, RGB, or HSL) from any location on your screen. It’s extremely important for designers and developers who need to match colors perfectly.

Again, these new features are currently only available on Copilot+ PCs.

Notepad has a Write Feature

Finally, Notepad will get an AI boost with a Write feature. It allows you to generate text from a basic prompt, which is ideal for brainstorming new ideas or improving on current notes. Simply right-click or press Ctrl + Q to get started. You can edit or discard the generated text as needed.

According to this latest tech news, to utilize Write, you’ll need a Microsoft account and a valid Microsoft 365 subscription that includes Copilot Pro AI credits.
